I am a licensed mental health clinician in NYC here to guide you on your journey towards growth & healing.  As a therapist, I believe in creating a safe and empathetic space where you can freely express yourself without fear of judgment.  I work with many individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, body image disturbances, self-esteem, trauma, as well as just navigating the complexities in our unpredictable world.  I recognize each person is striving to do their best and I understand that it’s not an easy journey.
Together, we address immediate as well as long standing concerns.   My goal is to strike a balance between challenging you to grow and providing a supportive environment where you feel comfortable exploring and confronting your emotions with compassion and understanding.

    There is no cookie-cutter approach to therapy. I utilize evidence-based practices tweaked & tailored to fit your specific circumstance. Each person’s journey is unique and we will find the most effective strategies for you.

  • Treating through a trauma-informed lens means being sensitive & educated about the impact of trauma on an individual’s life that can be complex & multifaceted.

    Many people experience some form of trauma at some point in their life. Often, the impact can go unnoticed or misunderstood. It can feel incredibly limiting & isolating. Trauma can show up in our emotions, thoughts, behaviors & our interpersonal relationships.

    I operate on the basis that everyone has coped in the best way they knew how at that given time. We will work together to recognize the lasting impact of your trauma, clarifying your own intention, while utilizing self-compassion & resiliency.

  • I integrate a top-down & bottom-up approach to therapy. Top-down focuses on cognitive & emotional processing. I offer practical tools to help you cope with daily stressors, while engaging in cognitive restructuring. Bottom-up focuses on the root causes & seeks to restore nervous system regulation. By integrating the two approaches, clients get a comprehensive & holistic approach to therapy.
